Prayer Ministry Purpose Statement
The purpose of the Prayer Ministry at  GEM is to be a spiritual foundation that undergirds the church through consistent, fervent, and faith-filled prayer. We are committed to interceding on behalf of our church leadership, members, community, and the world, aligning ourselves with the will of God as revealed through Scripture and the Holy Spirit.
Corporate Prayer Opportunities
Our prayer ministry at GEM, is dedicated to fostering a powerful connection with Jesus Christ through prayer. We firmly believe that prayer is what we need in this hour. We pray for our local ministry, our community and the nations at large.
In Person Prayer Meetings
Mondays at 12:00 pm
Tuesdays at 6:45 pm
Sundays at 8:45 am
At GEM, we strive to be a ministry that not only teaches people about God and prayer but also actually prays for people. So, prayer for others has been a regular part of our work since day one. There are times when life is overwhelming, and all we have are questions. In those moments, hope can feel far away. The great thing about prayer is that it shifts our perspective toward the One who stands ready to listen. No matter what you’re facing, we’d love to pray with you and partition God on your behalf.
We seek to:
- Cultivate a culture of prayer and spiritual sensitivity throughout the church.
- Equip and encourage believers to grow in their personal prayer lives.
- Stand as watchmen on the wall, discerning the times and lifting up holy hands in intercession.
- Support the vision of the church through prayer, fasting, and prophetic intercession.
- Provide a space for healing, deliverance, and breakthrough through Spirit-led prayer.
As a ministry, we believe that prayer is the engine that drives revival, transformation, and the fulfillment of God’s promises. Therefore, we commit ourselves to be vessels of prayer who expect great things from a great God.
