Purpose

The purpose of the Youth Ministry Sunday School Department is to provide a Christ-centered environment where young people can grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially. Through biblical teaching, mentorship, and discipleship, we aim to guide youth in developing a strong foundation in faith and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement

To empower and equip the youth of Great Expectations Ministries COGIC through sound biblical education, spirit-filled worship, and community engagement, so they may become bold, faithful, and impactful leaders in the church and in the world.

Spiritual Growth
- Teaching the Word of God in a way that is relevant and understandable to youth.
- Encouraging personal Bible study, prayer, and worship.
- Helping youth develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

3. Leadership Training

- Preparing youth to take active roles in church ministry and leadership.
- Offering mentorship and opportunities to serve in various church functions.

5. Life Preparation

- Equipping youth with tools to navigate real-world challenges while maintaining their faith.
- Offering guidance on education, careers, relationships, and community involvement.

- Instilling Christian values such as integrity, responsibility, compassion, and perseverance.
- Encouraging accountability and wise decision-making.

4. Fellowship & Belonging

- Creating a safe and welcoming space for youth to build positive friendships.
- Hosting events and activities that promote unity and fun in a Christian environment.

6. Outreach & Evangelism

- Inspiring youth to share the gospel with their peers.
- Participating in service projects and community outreach to demonstrate Christ’s love.
