Purpose
The Special Needs Ministry of Great Expectations Ministries COGIC is committed to serving individuals with diverse abilities and their families through intentional inclusion, spiritual support, and Christ-centered care. We believe every person is created in God’s image and deserves the opportunity to worship, grow, and serve in the Body of Christ.
Mission Statement
To create a loving and accessible church environment where individuals with special needs are valued, included, and empowered to fulfill their God-given purpose. We strive to support families, equip volunteers, and foster a community of compassion and understanding.

Goals and Purposes

- Ensure individuals with special needs participate fully in worship, Sunday school, and church events.
- Provide adaptive curriculum and resources for children, teens, and adults.
- Encourage peer relationships and community interaction.
- Support
- Offer training and resources for families and caregivers.
- Provide a network of emotional and spiritual support.
- Create a safe and understanding environment tailored to unique needs.

- Celebrate each individual’s gifts and contributions.
- Help individuals discover and develop their spiritual potential.
Foster an atmosphere of joy, acceptance, and hope.
We are here to create a safe environment as we meet the unique needs of individuals and their families impacted by disability, leading them to know Jesus, His love, and His purpose in life for each of them.
