OUR CHURCH HISTORY
GEM is dedicated to helping individuals strengthen their faith and develop a deeper relationship with God. We offer a variety of ministries to support individuals and families on their spiritual journey. From Sunday worship services and youth groups to Bible studies and community outreach initiatives, we are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can grow in their faith.
The Mission
The Vision
GEM believes that everybody is somebody; therefore, our mission is to embrace unity and impact the Kingdom of God while strengthening and encouraging each other, and the community in which we exist. We are here to empower, encourage, uplift, unify and learn through evangelism, training, and discipleship. We are committed to be the BEACON LIGHT that leads others to Christ, because our Kingdom assignment is to be the conduit for changing and transforming lives and communities globally.
To see people saved, healed, set free, equipped, empowered, and serving. To make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals, in our community, and in the world. Therefore, go make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you, always, to the end of the age.” -Matthew 28:19-20 NIV
Our Affirmation of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God. We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and, God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return. We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer. We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by who’s indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.
