Meet the Pastor

On July 8, 2012, was appointed  assistant pastor.  Upon the demise of Pastor Edward Reed in July 2020, Elder Dejuan Hall was appointed pastor October 2020. God continues to bless our ministry as we champion under the leadership of Pastor DeJuan L Hall.   Pastor DeJuan L Hall is an infectious leader, preacher, and teacher who presently serves as the Senior Pastor of Great Expectations Ministries Church of God in Christ (GEM), located in Covington, Tennessee. Under the leadership of Elder Edward Reed, he served as a deacon, education department teacher, and assistant pastor.
He loves to lead the congregation in corporate prayer and is yet instilling the value of loving God and loving people through the effective training of leaders for ministry, through strategies for service to the church and community, and evangelistic outreach.  Pastor  DeJuan is extremely passionate about equipping the body of Christ with the tools needed for effective and efficient ministry. He possesses a strong fervor for prayer, which is evident in the way that he lives his life and exemplifies the importance of spending time in the presence of God.
Elder Hall is an entrepreneur -owner of Perfect Image Barber and Beauty Salon, located in Covington, TN. Elder DeJuan is a family man. He and his wife, Tamara, have been married for 21 years. Together they are the parents of three sons.
