Whether you have been a member at GEM for a long time or just looking for spiritual direction, join us this week for a different kind of Sunday School. Here, you’ll discover a friendly, interactive, fun learning environment that is relevant to men, women, young adults, youth and children. The Purpose of Sunday School is to provide for instruction in an open discussion of the Bible and biblical literature, teaching children and adults the belief that there is only one God who exists as the Holy Trinity; God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and how to live the way He wants us to live. The ministry is composed of the Sunday School Superintendent, staff and students of 4 departments: Children (Primary, Juniors Intermediates), Young People, Young Adults and Adults. The Sunday School offers classes for all age groups. Each class lesson is taught at a level that everyone can understand.
This part of our education department is organized …coordinator, president, vice president, secretary, assistant secretary, teachers and students. The purpose of the Bible Study Ministry is to continue to support the mission of making disciples for Jesus Christ by training and teaching the Body of Christ to teach other to know and love the Lord. The ministry includes classes for everybody: adults, young adults, youth, and children
NEW MEMBER CLASS aims to integrate newcomers, offering an overview of the church’s beliefs, practices, and membership process, ultimately fostering a sense of belonging and community.
